Youth (6th-12th grades)

The Centerville Baptist Youth program welcomes all youth in grades 6-12. Our motto, taken from Matthew 22 is “Love God, love others, and love yourself.” We encourage discipleship, missions, and cross-generational community building. Our youth are regular participants in CBC’s Children’s Ministry and Missions and Ministry events. We also participate in a variety of retreats (CBFVA Fall Retreats), mission events (such as Passport Camps and Mission Madness), camps, and other fun activities.
Our two regular programs are Sunday Night Live and a monthly Hang Time.
Sunday Night Live
Sunday Night Live: 2nd and 4th Sundays in the Upper Room from 4-6 PM. A time of Bible lessons, practicing spiritual disciplines, discussions, and sharing. We also enjoy games and team-building activities.
Hang Time (once a month on Fridays)
Youth gather for fun and informal games and activities (pool, ping pong, nerf tag, basketball, sardines, board games, etc.) and just hanging out. We mix in structured group games and discipleship activities. Once to twice a month, youth gather for fun and informal activities like ping pong, board games, basketball, kickball, sardines, and sometimes simply hanging out. We mix in structured team building and discipleship activities.
